Disclosed are methods of preparing stable gas-in-solution emulsions by particle adsorption via electrostatic interaction, and stable emulsions prepared by particle adsorption via electrostatic interaction. Compositions and products comprising the emulsions are also disclosed. Emulsions may be stable over an extended period of time at room temperature.

Embodiments pertain to a method of attracting and/or feeding one or more animals, including game, wildlife, deer, whitetail deer (Odocoileus virginianus), moose, elk, antelope, goats, cows, horses, turkey, birds, raccoons, chipmunks, donkeys, elephants, possum, squirrels, rabbits, mice, and buffalo. Specific embodiments incorporate one or more of the following: whole chestnuts; chestnut kernels; kernel pieces, and incorporate less than 2%, less than 1%, less than 0.9%, less than 0.8%, less than 0.7%, less than 0.6%, and/or less than 0.5% chestnut flour. The attractant and/or feed can be used to feed and/or attract game, wildlife, deer, whitetail deer (Odocoileus virginianus), and/or other animals.
Packages for housing products and methods of using same are provided. The packages may be used to store consumable products and may be customized, contemporary packages that provide easy handling of the packages and increased purchase interest and marketability amongst consumers. In a general embodiment, the packages of the present disclosure include a body defining an interior for housing a consumable product. The body includes a bottom surface having a centrally-located, vertical axis that is substantially perpendicular to the bottom surface, a front surface that is substantially convex with respect to the vertical axis, and a back surface that is opposed to the front surface and is substantially concave with respect to the vertical axis.
A pet food container provides a bottom surface and a sidewall extending upwardly from and around the exterior of the bottom surface for forming or defining a feeding area within the pet food container. Pet food is inserted inside the feeding area and then equally spread across the entire surface area of the bottom surface of the feeding area forming a single or shallow layer of pet food within the pet food container. The pet food is then consumed by the pet food within the pet food container. The pet food is then consumed by the pet in many small bites of pet food from the single or shallow layer in the feeding area until the pet food is gone or the pet is finished eating. The pet food container further provides walls and curved surfaces to force the pet food back into the feeding area if displayed by the pet during feeding. Also, feet are provided to the bottom of the pet food container to prevent the pet food container from being pushed along the floor or moved by the pet during feeding.

A method for treatment of a cellulosic material is disclosed. More particularly, the treatment increases the digestibility of cellulosic material following microbial or biological processes.
Polydimethylsiloxane and/or siloxane (silicone)-derived chemical compounds are used to coating harvested forages to protect against rain and/or other weather damage and to suppress mold and spoilage in harvested forages. The PDMS compound and derivatives thereof are also found to suppress the damage resulting from oxidation within the feedstuff mass. When applied, PDMS coats the feedstuff and is included in the moisture portion of the feed or forage mass. This helps preserve the feed quality and slows the damaging effects of spoilage organisms and oxidation.
Nutritional compositions and methods of making and using the nutritional compositions are provided. In a general embodiment, the present disclosure provides nutritional compositions having whey protein micelles and leucine. The nutritional compositions provide a sufficient amount of leucine to improve protein synthesis in humans, while also maintaining a low-viscosity fluid matrix and acceptable organoleptic properties.
A combination micro-filtration halogen apparatus safely delivers drinking water by metering doses of concentrated aqueous iodine into a filtered water supply contained within a chamber. Untreated water is poured into the water filter column that allows for gravity to force the water through filters and the filtered or purified water depending on the filters is stored within a lower chamber of the column for disinfection. An aqueous iodine roller metering system controls the amount of iodine dispensed from an aqueous iodine container to the filter column. Turning the roller mechanism accurately meters a selected dose of concentrated aqueous iodine from the iodine container into the lower chamber of the water column. The active residual iodine disinfectant kills microbes in the filtered or purified water making it safe to consume and prevents recontamination. The iodinated drinking water also provides for essential daily human micronutrient requirements.

The sweetener composition comprises at least a sweetening amount of rebaudioside M together with at least one other one other edible ingredient or food ingredient. The disclosed food products comprise rebaudioside M sweetener with at least one other one other edible ingredient or food ingredient.
D-psicose/erythritol compositions comprise, in combination, D-psicose and erythritol as sweeteners together with one or more other edible ingredients. Comestibles are provided, including beverage products and other food products, comprising the novel D-psicose/erythritol compositions. D-psicose and erythritol may each be present in a comestible in a concentration sufficient independently of the other to perceptibly sweeten the composition. An additional sweetener component and other ingredients may be included in the formulation.
A whole grain gluten-free flour blend for use by persons with celiac disease, gluten sensitivity, food allergies, autism spectrum disorder and others wishing to eliminate gluten from their diet. An embodiment of a whole grain gluten-free flour blend may comprise specified amounts of gluten-free whole-grain flours, other gluten-free flours, gluten-free starches, and may also include gluten-free gums and/or gluten-free vitamins and minerals. An example of this unique blend may approximate the taste, weight, texture and performance of wheat flour. Furthermore, in an exemplary embodiment, the flour may be used as a cup for cup substitute for all-purpose wheat flour in most conventional recipes.
Flavoring concentrate compositions and a corresponding process for producing such compositions are provided that include: a flavor component; a solvent system; a sweetener; an acid; and water, wherein the water is present in the composition in an amount to achieve a water activity of about 0.6 to about 0.75.

A tea bag envelope includes: a main body adapted to store a tea bag; a tab that extends from the main body to form a closure; and a slot adapted to accept a portion of the tab.
